10th June 2019
Hochanda is proud to have partnered with Marie Curie earlier this year to run a ‘Paint the Daffodil’ Watercolour Masterclass. On 25th January 2019, our Leonie Pujol was joined in the studio by watercolour expert Matthew Palmer, along with two Marie Curie celebrity supporters; broadcaster and writer Penny Smith, and comedian and author Jenny Eclair.
In total, an incredible £6250 was raised and donated to Marie Curie through the collaborative efforts of Hochanda and its viewers. This will support over 50,000 people across the UK, providing comfort and care through life’s greatest challenges. Through creative and impactful entertainment, Hochanda will continue its dedication to supporting and raising awareness for important causes.
Quote from Joe Padbury, Hochanda Director
“A huge thank you goes out to everyone who participated on the day – all profits from the Masterclass have been donated to Marie Curie and we are delighted to have been able to support such a great cause.”
Quote from Charlotte Scurrah, Marie Curie Corporate Development Manager
“We thoroughly enjoyed our paint-along live daffodil masterclass with Hochanda. Our mission is to provide hands on nursing care to people living with a terminal illness and through the support of companies like Hochanda, it is made possible.”
