Original sewing patterns

As a family, we have always had a passion for sewing on vintage singer sewing machines that we collect and restore ourselves. Our continuing effort to care for our sewing machines results in our excellent stitch quality across any fabrics we use. We have an interest in using different fabrics which has developed into a love for making collectors bears and other quirky products such as our gnomes and hedgehogs. The high-quality finishes such as glass eyes means our products are not designed as toys but as ornaments making a lovely addition to any home décor. Supporting other UK small businesses is a passion of ours, we buy our fabrics and supplies from these as much as possible. Using the highest quality fabrics has always been a priority for us, our tweed is made in the UK- we use many from mills local to us. When making our products, we use our own original pattern and only make in small batches. We then travel all over the country as Rose-May selling them at specialist bear fairs, gift events and artisan markets.
