Product Description:

Prepare to be amazed! Light Reactive fabric perfect for creating clothing with that extra wow factor. Which kid (or big kid) would not like to be the centre of attention with a colour changing top!

This fabric is designed to show one design when in standard room light then when it is exposed to sunlight (uv rays) an array of colours appear literally before your eyes.

Perfect for a range of clothing and other projects, the Light Reactive fabric can be washed. Wash in cold water or on a very low heat. Iron on lowest heat setting on reverse side.

Please be aware this is a super quality fabric but it is a novelty effect. While it will wash and keep its properties for quite sometime eventually it will fade. We have washed sample pieces up to 10 times with little change to the finished effect. However this can vary. Further washing info below.

Although it is a novelty, to give you an idea of the quality, the same type of fabric has been used in garments by a large, up-market high street fashion chain – so although you must exhibit some care the chain was happy to use the fabric.

The manufacturer recommends the following washing instructions!

Wash on cold or at a very low temp.

Iron on lowest heat setting one

We advise testing a small piece first.

We always test fabrics such as these and have washed & washed a piece at 40 (should be 30 or lower really!) & it is still reacting just as new.
