Sculpture kits

The Sculpta face and pet kits contains everything an individual needs to create a unique and highly imaginative sculpted face. Each kit comes with the instructions of use in paper and youtube tutorial or optional DVD, this gives the user all the knowledge and technique they could possibly need to create and complete their sculpture, the instructions also use a philosophy of capacity building teaching developed over the past 14 years of working with groups of all ages and abilities. This is not a complex project, this one kit can be used by 95% of the population, from primary school children to grandparents, all use exactly the same kit. The kits have proved massively beneficial to people with physical and mental health issues, young people who feel disenfranchised and worthless, have suffered bullying or abuse in some other form and with older people who suffer with loneliness and boredom.

Why Sculpture Workshop?

Most people love being creative, given the chance it allows them a wonderful freedom to express themselves in colour and form or in performance. Many people haven’t used their creativity since they were in school, although they admit it was one of their most enjoyable lessons. The key to the success of our tactile, visual art workshops are that we don’t just use clay; we also supply a creative teaching aid called the ‘Skull-ature’. The ‘Skull-ature is simple piece of equipment but it can enable people of all abilities, age and culture to reach tangible creative levels never before imagined, that is truly ground breaking and could possibly change the way creative lessons are taught throughout the education system. In the early years Richard noticed that most people had a very real creative block brought on by a fear of failure or embarrassment when it came to expressing themselves when working with clay, they either didn’t have a clue where to start or they made an attempt but were quickly disillusioned when they failed to create anything which in their own eyes was ‘good’. For most people this is a crucial point, if they have tried and failed, it will be very difficult to encourage them to engage with this form of creativity again.
