Features and Benefits

This kit is a great introduction to a ganutell technique using what's often called a “prepared thread”.

The Prepared Thread method of making wire and thread flowers is one of the most flexible. Thread and wire are twisted together to form a strong ‘thread’ that can be manipulated into a variety of petal shapes.

These shapes are a little more robust than spiral ganutell. The technique is still widely used in Malta, and is perfect for flowers for bridal accessories and jewellery.

Full instructions to illustrate the techniques included.

You’ll have enough wire and thread to make at least 5 fairies - perfect each is designed with a little space to add ribbon or more thread allowing them to be hung on a tree or on a mobile.
